We have made it easier for VICOBA groups to operate a bank account and thus gain easier access to an array of other banking services.
Our VICOBA Pamoja Account requires that every group member be 18 years or above and the minimum opening balance is TZS 60,000. It obliges an operating balance of just TZS 50,000 and the same amount for the interest-bearing balance while offering a competitive interest rate of 3.5% accrued monthly but paid annually.
Your group will be issued with a branded card with photographs of the 3 signatories.

• All groups must be registered as VICOBAs
• Bring along a letter of introduction from your particular VICOBA group umbrella
• Submit your VICOBA group’s constitution.
• Submit a resolution mentioning account signatories
• Signatories must provide their formal IDs, two passport-size photographs, and a letter of endorsement from their local government authority
