Mr. Jean-Maire has 30 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking. His field of expertise include countrpaty risk and credit analysis. He worked with Societe Generale, in Paris France holding various Management positions from 1978 until his retirement in 2009.

He joined the bank as a Junior Manager within the Export Credit department. He was then assigned to oversee the bank’s operations in Japan for several years before moving to the United States where he was first in charge of the bank’s branch in Houston and later he was appointed Corporate Relationship Manager for a portfolio of Fortune 500 companies. In the late 90’s he returned to the head office and took over the bank’s global relationships with banking counterparts in Asia and later moved to the Risk division as Senior Credit analyst for Asian financial institutions.

For the past years he has been supporting SIDI’s partners involved in microfinance to help them maintain their mission of providing financial services to small and micro entrepreneurs.
