As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships and encourage open dialogue, the Bank hosted an SME-focused customer engagement forum in Mwanza on May 22, 2025, at the Gold Crest Hotel. The event brought together more than 250 customers from across the region.
The forum created an opportunity for customers to share feedback, highlight challenges in their financial and business operations, and learn about new solutions designed to meet their needs. Senior executives were on hand to listen, respond and explore ways to improve service delivery.
The session featured a financial education segment tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), offering practical guidance on financial management, digital banking usage, and sustainable business growth. Discussions revealed key SME challenges, including access to capital, digital literacy and financial planning.
This engagement reflects the Bank’s continued commitment to responsive, inclusive and digitally driven service.
